How To Make Vietnamese Grilled Rice Paper At Home

If you read my blog, don't worry—in this blog post, I'll instruct you to make tasty Vietnamese grilled rice paper with your house's familiar ingredients! Don't waste time anymore; let's get to it!


Ingredients:

- 1 rice paper (thin type)

- 1 egg

- 1 green onion (chopped)

- 1/2 sausage (sliced or diced)

- 1 tablespoon grated cheese or cheese slices (if desired)

- A little chopped sausage (optional)

- Chilli ketchup, tomato ketchup, or mayonnaise.


Instructions:

Prepare filling:

- Crack an egg into a bowl, and add chopped green onion.

- Beat the eggs until the eggs and onions are evenly mixed.

- Cut the sausage and cheese ready.

Heat the pan:

- Place the pan on the stove and turn to low heat.

- Wait for the pan to be slightly hot.

Baking:

- Put the rice paper on the pan.

- Using a spoon or brush, spread the egg-onion mixture evenly on the surface of the cake.

Add filling:

- Spread the sausage evenly over the egg layer.

- Sprinkle grated cheese evenly over the cake.

- If you like more flavor, you can spread a few tomato ketchup, chili ketchup, and mayonnaise on the surface of the cake.

Bake until crispy:

- Leave the cake in the pan over low heat, and wait about 2-3 minutes.

- Use a spoon or chopsticks to gently press the edges of the cake so that the cake is evenly crispy.

- When you see the cheese melt, the egg layer is cooked and the cake is crispy, turn off the stove.

Complete:

- Take the cake out of the pan.

- Use a knife or scissors to cut it into pieces.
